Yumeko Tendō (天童 夢子, Tendō Yumeko) is a young human girl and the older sister of Hoshirō. They appear only in the 1985 anime.

Personality

She is very kind and shares the belief that humans and yōkai should co-exist peacefully, and though she is the object of Nezumi-Otoko’s affections, she would much prefer to spend time with Kitarō.

History

3rd Anime

Yumeko first appears in episode two of the 3rd anime adaption, Kagami-Jijii. In this episode, she met Kitarō and the others when a yōkai named Kagami-Jijii trapped her within a mirror.

She does not appear in every episode. The episodes where she did make appearances include, but are not limited to:

Neko-Sennin, Devil's Melody: Yasha, Ancient Yōkai: Keukegen, and Yōkai Iyami.
