After Nazca's mother was exiled from the tribe, he watched over her and her daughter. He gained permission from Makemake to rest her next to her husband when they died on Nazca Plateau, and took care of baby Nazca.

By the order of Makemake, he visits Tori-Otome Nazca as a messenger when Shingo Umoregi and the others arrived on Easter Island. He informs Nazca about the secret of her birth and allows the young half-Chōjin to re-join the tribe if she pleases. After Nazca rejects the offer so that she stays and fights with the 12 Apostles, he understands her motivation and advises her on what to do next. Seeing Nazca defeat Glasya-Labolas, he praises her prowess as she performed with the tribe's pride, and promises that he will protect the tribe from Lucifer.

Legend[]

Andrealphus is a demon listed as the 54th spirit in Johann Weyer's tome on demonology Pseudomonarchia Daemonum, where he is a Great Marquis of Hell. He has the appearance of a peacock who raises great noises and teaches cunning in astronomy. When in human form he also teaches geometry in a perfect manner. Under his command are over 30 legions of spirits. He has the power to turn any man into a bird. He also appears in Goetia as the 65th spirit and is described with similar traits, with the inclusion to make men subtle in all things pertaining to, among other things, mensuration.

Mizuki's illustration of Adrammelech

Due to confusion by Mizuki, Akuma-kun's Andrealphus's appearance, however, seems to be based on Adrammelech, an ancient Semitic god briefly mentioned by name in the Book of Kings. Andrammelech, like many pagan gods, is considered a demon in some Judeo-Christian traditions, such as appearing in Milton's Paradise Lost. Here he is a fallen angel who, alongside Asmodeus, is vanquished by Uriel and Raphael. Adrammelech became the President of the Senate of the demons, according to Infernal Dictionary, a book on demonology by Collin de Plancy. He is also the Chancellor of Hell and supervisor of Satan's wardrobe. He is generally depicted with a mule's head atop a human torso, with a peacock tail, and the limbs of either a mule or a peacock.
